there is clearly a separation between wrestlers. For example, there are 8 or 9 2019 wrestling recruits coming in to VT this year. Four of them (Brady, Andonian, Latona and Mancini) are top 100 recruits who are mostly likely in some varying form, getting scholarship money while a 2nd group who are most likely not getting any (maybe very limited) scholie money. If you put it in football terms, the 2nd group would probably be called Preferred Walk-Ons. VT will bring in 3 to 5 of these guys every year to provide depth and also to hope that 1 or 2 have them develop into a possible starter or at a minimum needed depth in the room. I think Ragland fell into this 2nd group that's why I stated what I did about him. The reason I said 9 wrestlers because I though Kolton Clark from Alabama was coming but I haven't see his name listed anywhere yet.
